Lake: For a smaller man-made lake it is really pretty. There is also a small coffee shop on premises where you may get a free cup of coffee in the morning and they have a delicious selection of to go breakfast options. Then, plenty of restaurants within 3 miles. There is also a great little grill at the golf course which is a 5 min. Again, we were pleasantly surprised by how organized and close the restaurant on premises was with many outside/lakeside tables and a nice limited menu. That to me, was a great sign of how thorough they are about cleanliness.įood options: We were a little concerned about what may be available close by. I did the same of course here, but what really impressed me was when I wiped down the balcony furniture. The room also has a small fridge and Keurig coffee maker.Ĭleanliness: I was already OCD prior to Covid and always wiped down everything. Despite a lot of people activity around the marina, the room was quiet. It is modern and the bathroom was updated. First, the room is spacious with a large bar area and a huge balcony overlooking the lake. We choose the hideaway suite and it was a great decision. Room: Exceeded our expectations on multiple levels. The customer service while checking in was outstanding and we appreciated that everyone in the hotel's nice lobby were wearing masks and considerate of distance. Turned out in person that it was really cute and nicely decorated. On-line, the exterior did not really impress us but it was right on a cute lake so we thought it would be fine. The Lakehouse appeared to be the best option since we were going to use the golf course. In desperate need of a change of scenery after being stuck in the house for 5 months, we choose this location.
